These cables take power and Ethernet as input, and return two power and Ethernet outputs. The white Ethernet cable contains the first data channel; the black Ethernet cable contains the rest. This allows us to add one "leaf" style panel along our daisy chain in any place we use a Y cable. --- ## Power Splitter Notice the red pin at the input end, with red sockets at the output ends. ![[power_split_layout.png]] ![[power_split_complete.png]] --- ## Ethernet Y Cable Make these connections: | Input | Output | |-|-| | Data #1 (orange) | White ethernet, Data #1 (orange) | | Ground #1 (orange stripe) | White ethernet, Ground #1 (orange stripe) | | Data #2 (blue) | Black ethernet, Data #1 (orange) | | Ground #2 (blue stripe) | Black ethernet, Ground #1 (orange stripe) | | Data #3 (green) | Black ethernet, Data #2 (blue) | | Ground #3 (green stripe) | Black ethernet, Ground #2 (blue stripe) | | Data #4 (brown) | Black ethernet, Data #3 (green) | | Ground #4 (brown stripe) | Black ethernet, Ground #3 (green stripe) | ![[ethernet_split_layout.png]] ![[ethernet_split_layout_2.png]] --- Completed part: ![[ethernet_split_complete.png]] ![[ethernet_split_complete_2.png]]
