## Who should use Obsidian? Obsidian is a great note-taking app. Not everyone needs high-quality notes, but whether you need them or not, you may find that Obsidian is invaluable. Here are a few situations where I would recommend Obsidian: - If you feel like your brain is too full - If you feel like you’re never able to remember all the things you want to remember - If you’ve tried to take notes in the past, but they’ve never stuck - If you like to journal - If you like to write, read, or research Mobile - Yes but costs money Creating a new note -> Click this button, or Ctrl+N ![[Pasted image 20260413220702.png]] Open a note: Ctrl+O and find the note title Finding stuff: Ctrl+F to search in the current note; Ctrl+Shift+F to search in all your notes Typing in a way that's helpful: ``` - Regular list - Bullet point - Bullet point 1. numbered list 2. second item ``` ``` TODO list - [ ] new list item - [ ] nested list - [ ] nested list ``` My todo list: - [ ] not done item - [x] done item ``` **bold text** # Header ## Header 2 ### Header 3 #### Header 4 ``` Daily notes: ![[Pasted image 20260413221014.png]] You can set up a template for these, I call mine "yyyy-mm-dd" daily and ask myself a couple questions like this ![[Pasted image 20260413221108.png]]
